About The Position

The Administrative Assistant will manage external callers and visitors, as well as internal contacts, providing assistance and directing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. This role performs various administrative tasks, coordinates meetings and conferences, maintains sign-in documentation, and manages Community financial operations including accounts receivable and accounts payable activities. The Administrative Assistant also manages resident billing procedures, provides human resource support to the Executive Director, and oversees modifications in resident and employee statuses. A key aspect of this role is engaging with residents and families in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Proficient understanding of HR functions, including onboarding and orientation
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Displays readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

  • Prior experience in Senior Living preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs various administrative tasks, such as coordinating meetings and conferences, maintaining sign-in documentation, and other tasks as assigned
  • Efficiently manages Community financial operations including accounts receivable and accounts payable activities
  • Manages resident billing procedures, ensuring compliance with collection policies and maintaining record-keeping standards
  • Provides human resource support to the Executive Director including assisting with interviews, new hire processing, onboarding compliance, and orientation
  • Oversees modifications in resident and employee statuses, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date, organized, and compliant with policy and regulation
  • Engages with residents and families in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
