About The Position

Join UniSC's Student Business Services team and play a key role in supporting the University's curriculum data and timetabling operations. Working within the Timetabling and Curriculum Data team, you will contribute to the maintenance of curriculum, program and course information within PeopleSoft and related systems, support the development and delivery of student-centred class timetables across multiple campuses, and provide data, reporting and operational advice that supports effective student enrolment, progression and teaching space utilisation. Through collaboration with academic and professional staff, you will help ensure accurate data management and the smooth delivery of core student administration services.

Requirements

  • A degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and demonstrated experience within a tertiary education or student administration environment.
  • Experience working with student information systems, databases or other complex business systems, with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues, develop solutions and respond effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience providing high-quality client-focused service and managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience developing, maintaining and reporting from databases and management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for the maintenance of curriculum, program, course and class data within PeopleSoft and the University's timetabling systems.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing management of class timetables and room allocations to support student and teaching requirements across UniSC campuses.
  • Prepare data, reports and recommendations to support enrolment management, curriculum changes, student progression and continuous improvement initiatives.
