About The Position

Represents organizational unit on administrative matters. Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures. Performs a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as finance, human resources, purchasing, research and development. May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures. Assist with managing databases and/or tracking tools. Candidate has ability to work under limited supervision, with no instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments. Duties & tasks are varied and moderately complex. Resolves most questions and problems, and refers complex questions to higher levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • General knowledge of EVMS
