About The Position

As an onsite Admin/Recruiter for Freight Breakers, you will report directly to our site manager and be responsible for meeting all staffing requests and administrative requirements. This role involves identifying and sourcing diverse candidates, assisting with job descriptions, interviewing, hiring, and maintaining employee files and paperwork. You will also assist with data entry and payroll, and be willing to cross-train and perform other value-added services for our customer.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in staffing or recruitment. Entry level are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products.
  • Excellent research and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Must be able to pass a background check (Felonies will be flagged).
  • Must have 2 valid forms of ID. ID/DL and SSC
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and sourcing quality and diverse candidates through multiple venues such as job boards, industry-specific sites, college and university campus job fairs and contacts, social media outlets, and other sourcing means.
  • Assisting with the development of job descriptions if needed and create and post all open positions.
  • Interviewing candidates to evaluate their technical qualifications for assignments through phone and in-person interviews.
  • Hiring qualified candidates for the site operations and completing pre-employment tests, drug screens, applicant background checks, and obtaining required documentation.
  • Building professional relationships with customers, employees, and staff.
  • Maintaining employee files and paperwork.
  • Assisting with data entry and payroll.
  • Willingness to cross-train and perform other value-added services for our customer.
