About The Position

A retail platform built on care, consistency, and a culture that shows up for its people. We are looking for a Mortgage Recruiter to join our Retail Recruiting team. This is not a traditional recruiting role; it is a chance to represent our brand, start meaningful conversations with mortgage professionals who may not yet be looking, and create scheduled opportunities for our recruiting leaders. You will be supported with ongoing coaching, tools, and a proven framework.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional sales, recruiting, or business development experience.
  • Natural connector who enjoys starting conversations.
  • Consistent, thoughtful, and intentional.
  • Knowledge of lending and credit markets preferred.
  • Motivated to grow and improve daily.
  • CRM experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams) and comfortable on LinkedIn.
  • Participate in ongoing training on sales, technology, products, and procedures.
  • Complete annual training as required by company policy and law.

  • Understand the mortgage industry — or you are willing to go deep on learning it.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule qualified recruiting appointments in the assigned area, working at the direction of the AVP/VP of Retail Recruiting.
  • Execute high-volume, intentional outbound activity (phone, LinkedIn, email) to start authentic conversations with mortgage professionals who may not yet be looking.
  • Lead with curiosity, not a pitch — listen first, understand the prospect's situation and priorities, and earn the right to a next conversation.
  • Build and nurture a relationship pipeline of passive talent through consistent, value-driven follow-up over weeks and months, not just days.
  • Maintain an active personal brand on LinkedIn that reinforces credibility and supports outreach efforts.
  • Document every conversation in the CRM with the context needed for the AVP/VP to step into the next stage seamlessly.
  • Partner with the AVP/VP of Retail Recruiting to align outreach with territory priorities, branch needs, and the broader recruiting plan.
