Job Summary Secondary Education Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by secondary education undergraduate and graduate majors including those in alternate route licensure programs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Secondary Education adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [Two 3-hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on Classroom Management, Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Internship Supervision. Duties include: Instruction in traditional and online formats Assessment of student learning outcomes Supervision of field experiences Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Performance of other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines related to Education.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with online learning platforms.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team in diverse settings.
  • Experience setting clear performance expectations and provision of meaningful feedback.
