Job Summary Special Education Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by both program majors and non-majors. Special Education adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [2 – 3hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on Introduction to Disabilities and/or Special Education, Assessment, Intervention, classroom management, math.

Requirements

A doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in Special Education is required for teaching graduate level courses.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with all groups of individuals in a timely manner.
Ability to work with a diverse team in diverse settings.
Experience with online learning platforms.
Experience setting clear performance expectations and provision of meaningful feedback.
