About The Position
The Department of Fine Arts at Winthrop University is seeking applications for a part-time adjunct position with the expertise needed to serve as an Instructor of Art History. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced individual who can teach introductory courses in art history, specifically ARTH 175: Introduction to Ancient and Medieval Art (in person; for majors and non-majors).
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in art history.
Nice To Haves
- MA or PhD in art history.
- Previous experience teaching undergraduate students
- Proficiency with instructional technology and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard)
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory courses in art history, specifically ARTH 175: Introduction to Ancient and Medieval Art.
