About The Position

Baker College of Owosso is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) courses. The successful candidate will support Baker College’s Student-First philosophy and contribute to student success and the institution’s academic community. The role includes teaching a specified number of classes, and may include reviewing, revising, and developing curriculum. The faculty member will complete required professional development and training, collect and submit assessment data related to student learning outcomes, and participate in campus and system committees, subcommittees, projects, and other institutional activities. Additional duties may be assigned to support departmental and institutional goals. The chosen candidate is expected to act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• Appropriate credentials, including RDMS (AB and OB).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and Canvas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office and Google applications.

Nice To Haves

• Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred.
