About The Position

Grand Canyon University's Colangelo College of Business is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach the online course Faith-Inspired Leadership in Property Management. The course prepares current and future residential property management leaders to integrate biblical wisdom with industry best practices. Students develop skills to lead compassionately and address residents' housing and spiritual needs across diverse demographic groups. The curriculum balances faith, leadership, and performance, preparing students to manage properties, foster thriving communities, and contribute to the long-term value and profitability of real estate assets. It emphasizes sustainable, servant-leadership strategies that support resident well-being, harmonious communities, and ownership objectives. The adjunct faculty member facilitates weekly online discussions, meets grading and response deadlines, and models support for Grand Canyon University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and mission.

Requirements

A master's degree in business administration (MBA).
A minimum of 3 years of commercial or residential property management experience.

Nice To Haves

A PhD/DBA in Management or a doctorate in a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of corporate or residential property management experience.
Relevant certifications such as Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), CPM-IREM, or comparable professional property management industry qualifications.

Responsibilities

Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom.
Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes.
Respond to students’ questions and emails within established timeframes.
Provide a positive example by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and mission.
