German Language, Garmisch, Undergraduate School - Adjunct Faculty

University of Maryland Global Campus
•Onsite

About The Position

UMGC Europe is hiring an Adjunct Faculty member to teach German Language courses on-site in Garmisch, Germany. This role is for local applicants only. Applicants must have and maintain their own legal status in Germany; UMGC does not provide logistical support. Some teaching locations may not be accessible by public transportation, so candidates must be able to reliably travel to assigned locations and perform on-site responsibilities. Adjunct faculty use UMGC's pre-designed, standardized curriculum to mentor students, facilitate learning, and provide feedback. Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online (asynchronous and/or synchronous), in hybrid formats, or by live-streaming, depending on location and academic program. Most courses run in accelerated eight-week sessions, and enrollment varies by course and location. The role requires a substantial commitment to students' academic, social, personal, and professional growth throughout the term.
