About The Position

The University of Denver (DU) is a top-ranked, private university located in Denver, Colorado. The Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP) at DU, established in 1976, houses one of the nation's first Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) programs. GSPP offers specialized master's programs, online certificates, and continuing education, alongside training clinics and an APA-accredited internship consortium. The school emphasizes a practitioner-scholar model, integrating applied practice, theory, research, and scholarship. The PsyD program is seeking adjunct faculty instructors for the 2025-2026 academic year to teach various courses.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology or related field
  • Demonstrated current and relevant expertise

  • Graduate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field (must be a doctoral degree for required classes, may be a master’s degree for elective classes).
  • Teaching experience at the graduate level

Responsibilities

  • Complete DU-wide online training.
  • Plan and teach courses (some on-campus, others online via Zoom).
  • Be available to meet with students online or in-person.
  • Respond to student questions.
  • Assign and grade papers and exams as appropriate.
  • Adhere to all relevant DU policies and procedures.
