About The Position

Lesley University's Department of Expressive Therapies is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach GEXTH 6032: Human Development in the Fall Semester 2026. The course focuses on developmental psychology, theory, and research, integrating physical, cognitive, affective, neurological, and social development from a cross-cultural perspective. It will address implications for understanding human behavior across the lifespan, including arts-based development and its application to clinical mental health counseling practice.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Expressive Therapies, Counseling, or a closely related field (required).
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in Expressive Therapies or a related field at the graduate level.
  • Knowledge of human development across the lifespan.
  • Experience in constructivist, inquiry-based learning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD or terminal degree (preferred).
