About The Position
The Activity Leader I helps lead assigned activities within designated programs at Baxter YMCA in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves working and playing with children and leading activities in designated areas. The position is part-time and offers flexible hours and scheduling.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in conflict resolution with children and adults.
- Basic knowledge and ability to lead activities in designated areas.
- Specific knowledge in crafts, sports, games, special events, and/or leading group discussions or activities related to the program.
- Warm, friendly personality and willingness to work and play with children.
- Understand and accept the YMCA’s goals and philosophy.
- Complete all position-specific and required YMCA training within established deadlines.
