About The Position

Crestview Manor Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is recruiting a full-time Activities Assistant for a day-shift position. The role provides individualized activity care and services for residents and works as part of both the activities department and an interdisciplinary team for assigned units. Activities staff encourage residents’ socialization and community involvement and help make aging, rehabilitation, and recovery positive experiences. The successful candidate is energetic, passionate, creative, gentle, responsible, and hardworking, and is comfortable working with people who may be confused. Pay is $13.50 per hour. The posting also notes that daily pay is available, allowing employees to get paid the day after working.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work or life experience; healthcare-setting experience is preferred.
• Prior experience with related software applications is preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy and skills.
• Active state driver’s license.
• Must be energetic, passionate, creative, gentle, responsible, and hardworking.
• Must be comfortable working with confused people.
