Activities Assistant
About The Position
Sunrise Senior Living provides resident-centered care while supporting team member growth across Canada. This role involves assisting in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs, encouraging resident participation, preparing activity calendars and newsletters, escorting residents to and from programs, maintaining organized activity spaces and supplies, supporting volunteer engagement and community partnerships, documenting participation per regulatory guidelines, and monitoring resident engagement and communicating changes appropriately. The goal is to create meaningful experiences that enhance resident well-being and strengthen community connections.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead small group activities
- Valid driver’s license (as applicable)

- Senior living experience preferred
