About The Position

Brightview Senior Living calls this role a Vibrant Living Assistant. The position helps residents live active, vibrant lives by supporting engaging programming and community activities. The assistant gets to know residents and helps plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming that helps residents feel engaged and fulfilled. The role also promotes community events, participates in activities, uses social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily events, and helps set up and break down activities. Employees age 21 or older may occasionally drive a company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.

Requirements

Have a positive attitude and high energy.
Hold an active driver's license in good standing.

Use creativity in developing or supporting activities.

Responsibilities

Get to know residents and help plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming.
Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
Help organize and run activities such as games, painting, singing, and music, and participate in them.
Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities and events.
Occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events, if age 21 or older.
Set up and break down events and activities.
