About The Position
Orchard Heights is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Assistant / Recreation Aide to help seniors stay active, social, and engaged. The role creates meaningful experiences for residents through games, music, fitness, art, cultural celebrations, and local community programs. The aide helps foster a warm, lively community and encourages resident participation, connection, and an active lifestyle. Training is available for the right person, and the position may offer hands-on experience for students pursuing social work, teaching, or human services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Friendly, positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with seniors is helpful but not required.
- Students in social work, education, or human services are encouraged to apply.
- Customer service professionals may be a good fit.
