About The Position

The Activities Ambassador supports Encore Resort by hosting activities and helping create memorable experiences for guests. The role involves adapting to changing challenges, working flexibly outdoors in conditions ranging from rain and lightning to hot and cold temperatures, and engaging with large crowds and VIPs. Activities Ambassadors welcome and assist guests at the park or Hang Ten Children's Play room, support guest access, safety, and enjoyment, and help maintain communication among team members about operations and guest issues. The position may also involve cash handling and point-of-sale duties at Sundries Retail and dispatching guests down slides.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred.
One year of experience in recreational hospitality, cruise ships, summer camps, or as a DJ.
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within a timely manner.
Microsoft Office experience.
Ability to move quickly and adjust strategies based on trends.
Ability to adapt and work flexibly outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Organize and host daily activities listed in the monthly activity calendar.
Welcome and assist guests entering the park or Hang Ten Children's Play room.
Follow policies and procedures to support guest and member access, safety, and enjoyment.
Ensure inventory needs are met.
Handle cash and operate point of sale at Sundries Retail.
Dispatch guests down slides.
Lead by example and inspire motivation and anticipation among team members.
Maintain effective communication with team members about club operations and guest or member issues.
