About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Orlando is seeking an Activities Ambassador to support Encore Resort. The role provides guests with memorable family experiences by organizing and hosting activities, welcoming and assisting guests, and helping ensure their safety and enjoyment. Ambassadors must adapt to changing challenges, work outside in varied weather conditions, and be comfortable engaging with large crowds and VIPs. The position also includes retail cash handling and point-of-sale duties, slide dispatch, inventory coordination, and communication with team members about club operations and guest or member concerns.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred.
One year of experience in recreational hospitality, cruise ships, summer camps, or as a DJ.
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within a timely manner.
Microsoft Office experience.
Ability to move quickly and adjust strategies based on trends.
Ability to work outside in varied conditions, including rain, lightning, and hot or cold temperatures.
Ability to adapt and be flexible and empathetic.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Organize and host daily activities listed in the monthly activity calendar.
Welcome and assist guests entering the park or Hang Ten Children's Play room.
Follow policies and procedures to ensure guest and member access, safety, and enjoyment.
Ensure inventory needs are met.
Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale system at Sundries Retail.
Dispatch guests down slides.
Lead by example and inspire motivation among team members.
Maintain effective communication with team members about club operations and guest or member issues.
