Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively listen, ask questions, think creatively/critically, and close new business.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with professors, authors, team members, and internal employees.
  • Proficiency in managing responsibilities that require substantial independent work while also engaging in team collaboration.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and ask questions.
  • Drive to win and excel, seeking improvement.
  • Persistence in overcoming challenges and ability to adapt and be flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Interview professors and persuade author candidates to work with the company.
  • Identify business opportunities at colleges and universities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop interactive and engaging educational materials that meet student needs.
  • Partner with talented educators to create impactful learning solutions.
  • Call on and travel to different colleges and universities.
  • Uncover new sales channels for current product lines or find new products to sell to current customers.
  • Manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Handle substantial independent work while also engaging in team collaboration.
  • Identify challenges and develop practical solutions in real-time.
