About The Position

Great River Learning (GRL) is seeking an Acquisitions Manager to identify business opportunities with colleges and universities and recruit professors to become GRL authors. The role focuses on educators teaching lower-level, higher-enrollment courses and developing interactive, engaging materials that may be marketed nationally when they succeed locally. The position is remote and covers Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. It requires eight weeks of overnight travel each semester to college campuses: from late August through late November and again from January through late April. During travel periods, travel begins Sunday and concludes Friday, with campus meetings scheduled throughout the week. GRL develops engaging, media-rich higher education publications using videos, animations, and interactive exercises. It is part of Kendall Hunt, an established family of companies.
