About The Position

Great River Learning (GRL) is hiring a remote Acquisitions Manager for the Florida territory. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities at colleges and universities, interviewing professors, and persuading selected educators to become GRL authors. GRL partners with educators who teach lower-level, higher-enrollment courses to develop interactive, engaging publications, which may also be marketed nationally when successful locally. During these periods, the work week runs from Sunday through Friday and includes meetings with college professors on campus. In a typical week, the Acquisitions Manager plans and schedules meetings, interviews and recruits prospective authors, uses time on campus to contact priority prospects or department chairs, and follows up with prospective and existing authors while maintaining CRM records for publications in prospecting, development, or already published.
