About The Position
The ACE Leadman is a hands-on working lead responsible for collaborating with associates on cylinder processing and overseeing production output for a shift. The role ensures adherence to safety codes and policies, maintains cylinder quality, supports daily production goals, and requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. AmeriGas is the nation’s premier propane company, founded in 1959, serving more than 1.5 million customers. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- 0 to 1 years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing industry or related industry.
- Safety-focused approach.
- Strong people skills.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Exceptional work ethic.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift cylinders weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work outside in any type of weather conditions.

- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of production, including sorting, inspecting, cleaning, labeling, and refilling empty cylinders.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and policies, particularly that employees wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Pre-train new personnel in all aspects of production and monitor the flow of work in the production center.
- Maintain consistent quality of processed cylinders.
- Ensure daily cylinder goals are met so cylinders are ready for distribution and shipment.
- Work with employees to accomplish production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
