About The Position

The ACE Leadman is a hands-on working lead responsible for shift production output and working alongside associates in processing propane cylinders. The role ensures safety codes and policies are followed, supports production workflow and quality, and helps meet daily cylinder preparation goals. Work is performed outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 1 years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Safety focus.
• Strong people skills.
• Ability to lead by example.
• Exceptional work ethic.
• Mechanical inclination.
• Ability to lift cylinders weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in any type of weather.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; successful applicants must pass the drug screen as a condition of employment and may be subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of production, including sorting, inspecting, cleaning, labeling, and refilling empty cylinders.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Pre-train new personnel in production tasks and monitor workflow in the production center.
• Maintain consistent quality of processed cylinders.
• Ensure daily cylinder goals are met so cylinders are ready for distribution and shipment.
• Work with employees to accomplish production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
