About The Position

Nova Medical Services, a growing healthcare organization with specialties including Wound Care, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine, is seeking an Accounts Specialist to support the accounting team’s day-to-day financial operations. The role is suited to someone with accounts payable or general accounting experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to learn. QuickBooks proficiency is required; familiarity with automation tools such as Bill.com, Ramp, or Divvy is a plus.

The position includes processing invoices and payments, reconciling vendor accounts, maintaining accurate payment records, communicating with vendors and internal departments, and helping improve processes using QuickBooks automation features. Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Comfort with basic process automation.

Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Enter and code invoices in QuickBooks.
• Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card transactions.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of payments.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments about invoices or payments.
• Help improve processes and use QuickBooks automation features.
