About The Position
The A/R Customer Service Representative is responsible to ensure timely and accurate completion of deposit posting, collections review and back up duties for other staff as required.
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- One to two years’ experience in outpatient office setting
Responsibilities
- Provides Customer Service Phone coverage
- Is scheduled in the rotation of billing phone line coverage
- Responds to questions and concerns of clients, insurance companies, other agencies and staff regarding self pays, special pays, and insurance questions.
- Maintains promissory notes and special fee reductions and adjusts accounts accordingly.
- Daily deposits are reviewed for accuracy and entered into Chase via electronic submission
- Enters, Updates, and Bills DCS/CMHI/DCS FP
- Provides back up to the MRO Customer Service Representative and Insurance Verifier
- Works Flagged Services
- Complete work related trainings timely as assigned or requested. (i.e. Relias, Risk Management, PSO, DCS, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
