About The Position
Joseph Buick GMC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience handling dealership accounting processes.
Requirements
- Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Automotive dealership experience preferred
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records
- Reconcile accounts and investigate payment discrepancies
- Prepare and submit daily deposits
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances
- Work closely with the accounting office, sales, and service departments
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems
- Assist with month-end closing tasks as needed
