About The Position

This role supports our finance team by coordinating day-to-day accounts receivable activities and ensuring timely collection of customer payments. It is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with internal stakeholders and customers, and who approaches work with reliability and strong follow‑through.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in accounting
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, relevant industry experience considered an asset
• Experience with Sage 300 considered an asset
• Must have Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail with high accuracy, analytical & problem-solving skills
• Strong follow up and task tracking abilities
• Ability to manage time pressure, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Openness to learning and improving processes

Nice To Haves

• relevant industry experience considered an asset
• Experience with Sage 300 considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Enter daily customer payments and deposits.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers regarding overdue accounts.
• Forecast incoming customer payments and maintain receivables tracking information.
• Prepare month-end accounts receivable reports for management review.
• Meet with Division Managers to review overdue invoices and discuss collection status.
• Set up new customer accounts and reactivate existing customers as required.
