PetPlace, a subsidiary of IPH, is building a digital first pet e-commerce platform with the aim of connecting key market services such as adoption, lost pet and insurance to make pet care easy. Job Location: Remote PetPlace is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Payable Assistant who will be managing invoices, payment processing, account reconciliation, and preparing monthly aging reports while ensuring billing accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Responsibilities

  • Create invoices in general ledger and verify all billing information and ledger coding is accurate.
  • Apply payments for all business types.
  • Tracks receivable and/or payable activities.
  • Prepare monthly aging reports accurately and comply with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to follow up on billing issues and discrepancies.
  • Maintain customer accounts in the accounting system, ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Ensure timely application of payments and accurate reconciliation of accounts.
  • Work closely with the finance and accounting teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Resolve and track customer account inquiries.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
