About The Position

CXI Trucking is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounting / Billing Clerk to join our Accounting Department. This position is responsible for supporting the company's accounts receivable, customer billing, and general accounting functions while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate financial records. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with accounting or ERP software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely using QuickBooks and other accounting systems.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Apply customer payments and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Generate invoices, statements, aging reports, and other accounting reports as needed.
  • Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets as requested.
  • Support the Accounting Department with additional administrative and financial duties.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
