About The Position
Temp To Full-Time TPG is seeking a focused and driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our service company’s call center team in the Pleasant Hill area on a temporary-to-hire basis immediately. This role is responsible for collecting on outstanding customer accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, persistence, and the ability to remain productive throughout the entire shift.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to stay focused and professional in high-pressure situations
- Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills
- Comfortable working on a computer and phone simultaneously
Nice To Haves
- Previous accounts receivable, collections, or call center experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Handles inbound and outbound collection calls for the duration of your shift
- Communicate with customers regarding past-due balances and secure payments
- Accurately documents account activity and payment arrangements
- Work assigned administrative and account-related tasks when not actively on a call
- Meet daily productivity and performance expectations
