Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience using ERP/accounting software
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, reconciliations, and financial controls
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department while ensuring invoices, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and financial transactions are processed accurately and on time.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices, ACH payments, wire transfers, and check runs
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and internal business partners
  • Oversee month-end AP close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Maintain strong internal controls and support audit activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Payroll, Project Managers, and Finance leadership to support business objectives
