Accounts Payable Supervisor Honor Foods is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee and optimize our accounts payable function while building strong vendor relationships and guiding a high-performing team. Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR 5+ years in AP supervision.
- 3–5 years proven supervisory experience in Accounts Payable.
- ERP expertise (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit familiarity.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A problem-solver with strong communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the Accounts Payable Specialist, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
- Use NetSuite to streamline invoice processing, payments, and vendor management.
- Maintain strong partnerships with vendors while resolving discrepancies and negotiating favorable terms.
- Ensure timely, accurate invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations.
- Oversee employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring compliance and quick turnaround.
- Maintain strong internal controls, support audits, and ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.
- Assist with close activities and deliver meaningful AP reports and insights.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce errors, and maximize efficiency.
