About The Position

A growing, multi-site healthcare organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team at their corporate office in Franklin, TN. This role supports full-cycle AP operations across multiple locations nationwide.

Requirements

2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
Experience processing AP in a multi-location or multi-entity environment
Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, or similar platforms preferred)
Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data manipulation
High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

Experience with expense management platforms
Experience with document management systems
Background in healthcare, or multi-site service organizations
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner across multiple entities and locations
Perform three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs including ACH, wire transfers, and check disbursements
Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis
Maintain vendor master records, including new vendor setup, W-9 collection, and 1099 reporting
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, working cross-functionally with operations and procurement teams
Support month-end close processes including AP accruals and reconciliations
Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements
Identify opportunities to streamline AP workflows and improve processing efficiency
