About The Position

An Accounts Payable Specialist position is available at Garney. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent – Required
• Software and computer proficient
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with high volume workload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Team oriented, ability to collaborate with team members, and foster positive working relationships.
• Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem solving and reconciliation abilities

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2-4 years of accounts payable experience- Preferred

Responsibilities

• Record and process payments into ERP system
• Create and transfer payment files to the bank for payment processing
• Process ACH payments to employees on a weekly basis
• Process payments by wire transfer or physical check upon request
• Transfer funds to various entities
• Deposit checks that Garney receives for payment via mobile deposit
• Void transaction and reconcile bank account differences
• Enter invoices and subcontract pay applications into the ERP system
• Enter expense reports and necessary documentation into the ERP system
• Code, track and view different job costs
• Track and report on miscellaneous costs and reporting per request
• Support month end and year end closing procedures as required
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth processing and timely resolution of accounts payable matters
