About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced, hands-on Accounts Payable Specialist. The role supports the company’s accounts payable function and service-focused culture. Responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, setting up vendors, tracking 1099s, reconciling customer statements, and maintaining accounts payable files. This position is tipped eligible. Specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

At least 2 years of accounts payable experience is preferred.
Basic understanding of general accounting principles.
Thorough knowledge of the accounts payable function.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
Skill using personal computers, Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word), and software applications.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality industry experience is preferred.
Multi-property accounts payable experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review invoices for appropriate documentation, general ledger coding, and approval before payment.
Process, batch, and input vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and check requests.
Process check runs.
Set up new vendors and track 1099s.
Reconcile customer statements and maintain accounts payable files.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
