Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced, hands-on Accounts Payable Specialist to support its hospitality operations. The role reviews and processes invoices and related payments, maintains vendor and accounts payable records, and contributes to business objectives. Requirements

Basic understanding of general accounting principles.
Thorough knowledge of the accounts payable function.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
Skill in using personal computers, Microsoft Office—especially Outlook, Excel, and Word—and software applications.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of accounts payable experience; preferred but not required.
Hospitality industry experience.
Multi-property accounts payable experience.

Responsibilities

Review invoices for appropriate documentation, general ledger coding, and approval before payment.
Process, batch, and input vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and check requests.
Process check runs.
Set up new vendors and track 1099s.
Reconcile customer statements and maintain accounts payable files.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
