Performs a variety of clerical duties including typing, filing, simple posting, recording, and preparation of forms. In performing this job, the employee will have access to highly confidential information of which must not be copied or shared with anyone other than those authorized by management. This role also involves scanning documents, completing use tax forms, providing backup support for accounts payable and receptionist duties, completing monthly utility spreadsheets, preparing various documents from drafts or verbal instructions, and potentially performing messenger duties. The position also requires serving as backup receptionist, covering the desk during lunch and as needed, being trained in customer service for call rotation, and performing order processing as part of that rotation. Additionally, the clerk is responsible for maintaining office equipment, distributing faxes, handling outgoing mail and post office runs, cleaning office equipment, and reconciling lumper receipts and disbursements by the 10th of the month. Disregard of confidentiality responsibilities could result in disciplinary action, including discharge and/or legal liability. The employee will perform other duties as directed by their supervisor.
