About The Position

Hyundai of Central Florida is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team! Since opening in 1970, Mullinax Automotive has grown to be among of the nation’s top-volume vehicle retailers. We have 12 dealerships including Ford, Hyundai, Genesis, Buick GMC, and Cadillac in Florida, Alabama and Washington. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a great team and gain experience in the Automotive Industry.

Requirements

Basic administrative tasks
Able to work in team environment
Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
Attention to detail
Must be able to pass a background screening and drug test
Bookkeeping/Accounting experience
3 or more years working in an office environment

Nice To Haves

Automotive industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
Pays invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment.
Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, and refunds, and preparing and mailing invoices.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments.
Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
