About The Position

Ember Resources Inc. is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk for their downtown Calgary office. This role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and requires excellent time-management skills. Previous experience with the Qbyte Financial System is preferred, and experience with OpenInvoice and CheqMaster is considered an asset. The company is Canada's largest producer of coalbed methane (CBM) with a significant land position in Alberta. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable / Payment run position preferred
• Working knowledge of OpenInvoice, Qbyte Financial, Energylink and CheqMaster are an asset
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and multi-task effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively, confidentially, and professionally in a dynamic business environment
• Strong team player with the ability to build relationships and work constructively with others to achieve business goals
• Eligible to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with the Qbyte Financial System is preferred
• Experience with OpenInvoice and CheqMaster is an asset

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable emails
• Enter invoices and payment requests into OpenInvoice
• Upload employee expense reports
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (EFT and cheques)
• Upload cheque files to CheqMaster
• Process land interface files
• Prepare journal entries or spreadsheet uploads, as required
• Void and cancel cheques
• Email EFT remittances
• Coverage for reception desk and provide other administrative support, as required.
