About The Position

The Accounts Payable Associate completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Our successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and committed to the success of our business while ensuring business adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
3 years of experience with Accounts Payable.
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and AX Dynamics.

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Manages and prepares all invoices on a daily basis and routing for approvals
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
Evaluate and reconcile all vendor statements and manage all inquiries
Maintain and update all account payable data and ensure accuracy in general ledgers
Process accruals on a monthly basis
Evaluate all accounts payable balances and resolve unpaid invoice issues
Coordinates with various departments to ensure invoice and PO match
