About The Position

Active Dynamics Group, a designer, tester, and manufacturer of exhaust systems, is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join its Novi team. The role is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable and month-end AP accruals. The company describes itself as a global business with more than 1,000 associates and operations in North America, Europe, and South and East Asia. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA. Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience in an accounts payable capacity.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and independently perform multiple tasks.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting.
• Accounts payable experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting software; Syspro or Global Shop experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive supplier invoices and verify prices, quantities, and other requirements before processing.
• Ensure transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Match supplier invoices with bills of lading and goods-received notices, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Process invoices in the Syspro ERP system and maintain electronic vendor folders.
• Process vendor payments biweekly, assemble payments for review, mail cheques, and send wire or web payment notifications to vendors.
• Maintain the supplier master file and ensure supplier credentials are accurate.
• Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers.
• Perform supplier reconciliations and investigate and resolve pending issues with suppliers.
• Conduct month-end AP accruals accurately and on time.
• Perform accounts payable and administrative filing duties.
• Perform other duties as required.
