About The Position

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join a growing team focused on expanding its accounts payable operations in Tampa. The role processes a high volume of invoices and ensures accuracy in financial transactions. This is a contract-to-hire position based in Tampa, Florida. It is described as fully onsite, with an initial five-day-per-week office training period followed by a hybrid schedule of four days onsite and one day remote. Standard hours are 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
More than 2 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience with mid- to large-sized corporations.
Proficiency in accounts payable reporting and analytics.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
Solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
Experience with SAP or another large software system such as Oracle or PeopleSoft.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including three-way matching, purchase orders, and goods receipt.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Process a high volume of invoices using a three-way match system and analyze them for discrepancies or errors.
Work independently and collaboratively, take responsibility for reporting, and serve as a backup for processing tasks.
Assist vendors with invoicing inquiries and resolve discrepancies or errors.
Set up new vendors in the system as required.
Analyze and efficiently resolve invoice discrepancies.
