About The Position

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator Summer Student to support our payables team by providing support for invoice and expense claim entry. This is a great opportunity for an individual with excellent data entry and attention to detail skills who enjoys working with a high performing and innovative team while making an impact. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Above average accounts payables knowledge.
  • Above average data entry skills.
  • Above average use of excel.
  • Above average customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team Player
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to prioritize workload expectations both quantity and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent additional accounts payable experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all invoices and expense claims are entered accurately into JD Edwards as per monthly timeline requirements.
  • Identify any transactions that pose a risk to the company.
  • Review and reconcile vendor accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Obtain the appropriate approvals for all invoices received before processing for payment.
  • Follow-up with vendors/internal staff for invoice discrepancies.
  • Ensure all invoices are entered to meet payment runs.
  • Achieve monthly timeline requirements.
