About The Position

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator Summer Student to support our payables team by providing support for invoice and expense claim entry. This is a great opportunity for an individual with excellent data entry and attention to detail skills who enjoys working with a high performing and innovative team while making an impact. Requirements

High School Diploma
Above average accounts payables knowledge.
Above average data entry skills.
Above average use of excel.
Above average customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Team Player
Able to work independently.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to prioritize workload expectations both quantity and quality.
Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education or equivalent additional accounts payable experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Ensure all invoices and expense claims are entered accurately into JD Edwards as per monthly timeline requirements.
Identify any transactions that pose a risk to the company.
Review and reconcile vendor accounts to ensure timely payments.
Obtain the appropriate approvals for all invoices received before processing for payment.
Follow-up with vendors/internal staff for invoice discrepancies.
Ensure all invoices are entered to meet payment runs.
Achieve monthly timeline requirements.
