About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team in Clarksville, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor files and update vendor information as needed.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable process.
