About The Position

The Accounts Payable Accountant manages and processes vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables in compliance with hospital policies and accounting standards. The role ensures payments are accurate and timely, maintains strong internal controls, and supports the hospital’s overall financial health.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with healthcare accounting and vendor payment processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• 2–4 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Relevant accounting, finance, or accounts payable internship experience may be considered toward the experience requirement.
• Interest in healthcare finance and hospital operations.
