About The Position

Yamaha is seeking an Accounting Specialist I for its facility in Kennesaw, Georgia. The role is responsible for vendor maintenance, payment setup verification, corporate card administration, employee expense reimbursement support, and tax documentation and reporting. The position helps ensure financial records are accurate, internal controls are followed, and accounting processes are completed on time in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role also supports month-end activities and other assigned duties. It reports to the Accounting Manager II.

Requirements

At least 2 years of accounting experience.
GED or high school diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or a combination of experience and education.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience in accounts payable, vendor maintenance, and banking ACH verification.
Familiarity with ACH payment processing, corporate card administration, Egencia Travel, and ExpenseWire.
Knowledge of vendor tax documentation and annual 1099 reporting requirements.
Self-motivated, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organization, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

SAP knowledge or experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Support employee expense reimbursements.
Review corporate card activity and follow internal controls.
Handle tax documentation and reporting, including vendor documentation and annual 1099 reporting.
Provide month-end support.
