•$110,000 - $170,000

About The Position

Plaid is seeking an Accounting Operations contributor to own accounting for accruals, investments, leases, intercompany activity, and cost allocations. The role includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing balances and trends, and ensuring these areas are complete and accurate at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end. The position serves as the point of contact for its accounting areas during close and the annual audit, with responsibilities potentially expanding into other areas as the business and team grow. The role also builds scalable, efficient processes to support Plaid’s growth and public readiness. This includes documenting and strengthening controls, shortening the close, improving the quality and consistency of supporting documentation, and identifying opportunities to automate manual work. The position partners with Accounting, FP&A, Strategic Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Marketing, vendors, and external auditors.
