This position ensures accurate accounting records for the general ledger, payroll and accounts payable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency and an Associate or Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
• Two years of accounting work experience preferred
• Payroll experience preferred
• Familiarity with accounting terminology
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals and percentages
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Ability to solve problems and make adjustments regarding processes
• Capable of dealing with deadline pressures
• Integrity regarding confidential and proprietary information

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate accounting records for the general ledger, payroll and accounts payable.
